In Luxury, Curation Isn't Optional—
It's Everything
Hey, it’s Jenessa.
In today’s issue:
Deep Dive: Missing the old Herco? You’re Going to Love This…
•DEEP DIVE
From Herco to Noble Chain: A Beautiful Revival…
Luxury isn't about overwhelm.
It's about feeling gently guided—like being handed a warm sweater and pulled out of the rain.
That's why curation isn't just important when selling fine jewelry.
It's everything.
If you've been reading this newsletter for a while, you know how often I come back to this idea—like when I talk about showing fewer sketches to clients to help guide their decisions and not overwhelm them.
Because in luxury, more options don't lead to better sales.
Fewer, better ones do.
A Brand That Got It Right
I've always loved Herco —the San Francisco-based fine jewelry and chain supplier with a slim, beautifully curated catalog of Italian and German-made staples.
In America, they were the go-to for high-quality chains—the gold standard in the industry.
Getting that annual Herco catalog?
For me, it was like a spa day. I'd sit with it, circling pieces like a kid picking out Christmas toys.
So when I heard Herco had been sold to Quality Gold in 2023—a company known for catalogs the size of phone books, not curation—I felt the loss immediately.
It felt like the end of something special.

But Here's the Good News 🌤️
Noble Chain is here.
Founded by former Herco employees (the renegade ones who got it), this new company is bringing back everything we loved:
• A tight, thoughtful catalog.
• High-quality chains made in Italy, Germany, and beyond.
• A curated experience for owners who care about the details.
📬 I called them last week. They're sending me a catalog—and yes, I'll be flipping through it like the good ol' Herco days.
Want one, too?
Give them a call , and tell them you heard about Noble Chain from The Jewelry Obsessed.
This isn't a sponsored email. I believe in sharing good things—especially when created by people who care.
