The Most Profitable Engraving Pattern Every Jeweler Should Know
This week's newsletter is straight to the point.
I'm teaching you how to lay out one of the most in-demand engraving styles—the half-wheat pattern.
📌 Pro Tip: Click "READ ONLINE" at the top right of this email to avoid missing the step-by-step images (thanks, Apple update).
But Wait… Why Am I Giving This Away?
Isn't she working on a complete course that teaches exactly this?
Yep—I am. And it's unlike anything else out there.
Inside my upcoming jewelry-making course, you won't just learn how to engrave the two most popular bridal patterns—you'll also get something no other course offers:
🔥 A CAD file (or STL) of the exact ring design featured in the course.
🔥 Full rights to sell the design as your own.
That means you're not just learning—you're walking away with a market-ready bridal ring you can cast, engrave, and sell as soon as you complete the course.
Why This Course Is a Game-Changer. Period.
After 20+ years in the industry, one thing drives me crazy—the disconnect between CAD modelers and jewelers.
Too often, CAD designers say, "I'll just let the jeweler figure this out once it's cast."
🚨 WRONG. 🚨
A flawed CAD model makes everything harder, slows down production, and eats into your profits.
This course teaches how to design for jewelers, not against them—solving problems before they ever hit the bench.
You’ll Learn…
✔ High-value engraving techniques.
✔ Get a ready-to-sell bridal design.
✔Master CAD setups that actually work for jewelers.
This isn't just another jewelry course.
It's your shortcut to mastering engraving AND attracting more clients.

And now, as promised—here's how I lay out a half-wheat pattern using a computer sketch to replicate what I do in metal.
It's also a sneak peek at one of three celebrity-inspired design options you'll get to vote on soon.
So keep an eye out and help choose the final design!
How to Layout a Half-Wheat Pattern:
1. Most half-wheat patterns are framed within a border—the standard border dimension is 0.40mm wide.
2. A traditional wheat pattern tapers down in size. To achieve this:
Divide the top red borderline into 8 equal segments.
Divide the bottom blue borderline into 9 segments for a natural taper.
3. Mark a line from each segment to the center of the ring—this creates your wheat pattern boundary.
Skip a segment at the top to make the wheat pattern taper.
4. Connect the dots! Draw a two-point curve where the top borderline and line segments intersect to create your half-wheat pattern.
🎉 Voilà! Your wheat pattern boundaries are set—now it's time to put your graver to work!
I'd love to hear what you think—hit reply with a 👍 if you're interested in the course, and stay tuned for the design vote!
Happy engraving!
